The minutiae of everyday life - found sounds & field recordings become broken latin rhythms, melancholy folksong becomes electric distortion.
Exploring innovative technologies for musical expression, Jessie uses motion sensors worn on her hands to shape her sound with movement and gesture. She seeks to bridge the gap between the digital realm and the inner world of song & memory.
